SLEAFORD WHEELERS ANNUAL CHARITY 10 MILE TT
A first for me in more ways than one. With 64 Open Promotions under my belt this will be the first time I have promoted this event and my first on a Saturday afternoon as opposed to early on a Sunday morning. Also the first without monetary rewards though there will be a few Easter Eggs on board.
This event has over the years attracted some of the best riders in the country. So how about making a note in your diaries and entering this very popular Easter Saturday afternoon Time Trial.
All excess money after expenses have been deducted will be passed on to Cancer Research UK.
The event will be held on Saturday 3rd April, Kick off 2 pm. HQ is St Botolph Church Hall. Grantham Road, Sleaford.
The course to be used is as usual C10/10.
It is a single carriageway out and home sporting course A reasonable surface that has a 21-08 course record. That belongs to either Gary Empson, who took comp Record when he became the first rider to crack the hour barrier in a "30", or it maybe Jon Surtees.
