Save the date - 2019 National Clarion Easter Meet
We are delighted to give you early news about the official 2019 National Clarion 124th Easter Meet, to be held in 2019 in York.
These National Clarion Easter have been a staple event in our calendar since 1895 and every year bar one since then. This is the 6th time we’ve been to York and the last time was in 1960.
We will have a brilliant program of meet-ups, socialising, leisure riding, family fun and racing (although not too serious for some). We also have the annual conference on the Friday afternoon (it worked at Lincoln a few years ago) and to wrap things up we have the annual dinner and prize presentation on the Sunday evening.
You can come to any or all of the weekend, but the evening functions on the Saturday and Sunday will be chargeable. Prices will be announce shortly, but expect them to be less than previous years.

Friday evening RACENIGHT!!
This Friday 9th November we will be holding another of our youth racenights, this time with a cyclocross format, so we will be on the grass and every rider will get two races. These will still suit ALL of our youth riders, but with the added attraction of some riders from other clubs joining us for a few races, making it ideal entry level racing, and suitable for getting started with competitive events. Each event will be in age groups, so even our youngest will be able to take part, and the oldest will riders will be under 16 age group (racing separately to the younger ones)
Entry will be £4 on the day from 6.00pm with races to start at 6.30 and finish around 8.00 with prizes for the two event series on Friday 14th December. Hopefully our youngsters will all want to try these events, they seem to have a competitve streak even when not racing, so it should make a nice change to our usual format.
We could do with a few helpers on the night, so if you are able to help please let me know.
